Job summary

Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Concord aged care team in a part-time/casual role. You will oversee care delivery, supervise staff, and ensure residents receive person-centered, high-quality care.

The role reports to the Care Manager and supports our not-for-profit mission across NSW/ACT. Requirements include RN DIV 1 registration, 2+ years aged care experience (desirable), WHS knowledge, and current First Aid and police

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered.
• 2+ years experience in aged care (desirable).
• Proficient with iCare software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care staff to deliver high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate and deliver care with the care team.
• Provide complex clinical care (e.g., wound dressings, medications, assessments).
• Enter reports and observations in iCare.
• Maintain and evaluate care plans to adapt to residents’ changing needs.

Registered Nurse - Concord

Part-Time/Casual Position

Position Information:

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care Registered Nurse to join and lead our care team in our aged care residence located in Concord.

This is an incredible leadership position, you will advise and assist the care staff to provide the best care, tailored to suit the needs and preferences of our residents. The role reports to the Care Manager.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 145 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Being responsible for ensuring high quality care is delivered to residents in a key leadership position
• Supervising and assisting other care employees
• Building and fostering partnerships with each resident, respecting and ensuring their dignity, and focusing on their health and wellbeing.
• Working within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care.
• Providing complex clinical care including but not limited to: wound dressing; administration of medications;condition assessments and referrals.
• Entering reports and observations on the computer program â iCare.
• Evaluating and maintaining care plans to meet changing needs of residents

What we look for:

• Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered.
• 2+ years previous experience in Aged Care (desirable)
• Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desirable)
• Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
• Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation and ANACC will be highly regarded
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid police check clearance
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.
