Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution Ltd (RFBI) in Berry/Basin View seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead care teams across two villages. You will advise and support staff to tailor care to residents’ needs, reporting to the Care Manager.

RFBI is a not-for-profit provider with long-standing community impact. Ideal candidates hold RN DIV 1 with AHPRA registration, have 2+ years in aged care, and enjoy working across two sites with supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse DIV 1 – AHPRA registered.
• 2+ years’ experience in aged care.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of iCare (desirable).
• Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support care staff to deliver high quality resident care.
• Supervise and assist other care employees.
• Build partnerships with residents, respecting their dignity and wellbeing.
• Coordinate and deliver care within a supportive team.
• Provide complex clinical care including wound dressing, medications, assessments.

Registered Nurse - Berry & Basin View

Full-Time Opportunity Available

Position Information:

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care Registered Nurse to join and support our care teams across our aged care residences in Berry and Basin View.

This is an incredible leadership position where you will work across both villages, advising and assisting care staff to provide the best possible care, tailored to the individual needs and preferences of our residents. The role reports to the Care Manager.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a not-for-profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Being responsible for ensuring high quality care is delivered to residents in a key leadership position
• Supervising and assisting other care employees
• Building and fostering partnerships with each resident, respecting and ensuring their dignity, and focusing on their health and wellbeing.
• Working within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care.
• Providing complex clinical care including but not limited to: wound dressing; administration of medications;condition assessments and referrals.
• Entering reports and observations on the computer program â iCare.
• Evaluating and maintaining care plans to meet changing needs of residents

What we look for:

• Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered.
• 2+ years previous experience in Aged Care
• Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desirable)
• Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
• Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation and ANACC will be highly regarded
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid police check clearance
• Must be eligible to work in Australia
• Willingness and ability to work across both Berry and Basin View villages.
