Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is sourcing experienced Registered Nurses for agency contracts across Northern NSW, including Lismore, Grafton, Tweed, Ballina, Maclean, Kyogle and Bonalbo. Roles span ED, medical, surgical and critical care with a weekly bonus for weeks worked.

Find rewarding regional placements during the Christmas period with six-week minimum contracts and travel/accommodation support where available.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum four years of nursing experience for NSW North Coast opportunities.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current National Police Check.
• An up-to-date CV outlining your clinical experience, employment history and relevant competencies.
• Two professional references from recent clinical managers or supervisors.
• Availability for a minimum six-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department: fast-paced regional and rural emergency nursing, assessment, triage and acute presentations.
• General Medical: acute medical admissions, complex presentations and ongoing patient management.
• Surgical Wards: pre- and post-operative care, surgical admissions and recovery.
• Sub-Acute & Rehabilitation: supporting recovery, rehabilitation and patient independence.
• HDU / Critical Care: opportunities for high-dependency environments.
• ICU: critical care opportunities for nurses with ICU experience.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

To be considered for these opportunities, you'll need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant recent clinical experience in the specialty you're applying for.
• A minimum of four years of nursing experience for NNSW opportunities, with the appropriate experience and competencies for your chosen clinical area.
• A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) at the application stage.
• A current National Police Check.
• An up-to-date CV outlining your clinical experience, employment history and relevant competencies.
• Two professional references from recent clinical managers or supervisors who can speak to your clinical practice.
• Availability for a minimum six-week contract.
• The flexibility and confidence to work in a new clinical environment, with the appropriate skills for the position.

Additional site‑specific compliance may be required, including relevant vaccination evidence, statements of service, mandatory training and other checks.

Emergency, critical care and rural roles may have additional competency requirements.
