Job summary

Skilled Nursing is seeking experienced Remote Area Nurses (RAN) for regular, ongoing contracts across Queensland. We offer competitive hourly rates, travel and accommodation while you gain valuable experience in remote communities.

Requirements include current AHPRA registration as a RN without restriction and a minimum of two years’ recent clinical experience. Postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable, with mandatory and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restriction is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate Qualifications in Critical Care, Emergency care, Rural and Remote Nursing highly desirable.
• ALS, REC, MEC required.
• Evidence of mandatory training for the role.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different healthcare environments.
• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work confidently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to complete all required compliance documentation (Police Check, WWVP, immunisations).
• Provide two recent professional referees.
