Job summary

Respect Group in regional NSW is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 79-bed Mackellar Apex Road in Gunnedah. You will deliver safe, person-centered care in line with AHPRA standards, reporting to Care Manager and General Manager, collaborating with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of aged care standards and residential aged care requirements.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident admissions, assessments, and care planning.
• Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Complete ACFI/clinical assessments and support funding requirements.
• Administer medications and oversee medication management processes.
• Provide direct clinical care and respond to changes in resident health.
• Supervise, support, and mentor Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants.
• Liaise with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals.
• Promote a safe workplace and maintain infection control standards.
• Participate in ongoing training, professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care in accordance with AHPRA standards and organisational policies. Reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, you will work collaboratively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and care staff to support residents' health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Essential:
