Job summary

Churches Of Christ In Queensland – Benowa, QLD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversight during night shifts in our aged care facility. You will administer medications, review and update care plans, and conduct baseline and focused assessments to support residents and the team.

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN required.
• Aged care experience desirable but not essential.

Job Description

In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting both our residents and team memberswith a strong focus on providing clinical leadership and oversight during night duty shifts.

Key responsibilities include, administering medications, reviewing and updating care plans, conducting baseline and focused assessments, leading the team, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, residents, and their families to ensure high-quality care., Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Courage.

About the Candidate

• Passionate about Aged Care and providing safe supportive care to the residents
• Has current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Previous clinical experience in the Aged Care Sector (desirable but not necessary)
• Currently hold, or willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR Certificate and Police Check
• Ability to work across day, afternoon and night shifts
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
