Job summary

GenesisCare in Hurstville, NSW, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our oncology team on a casual basis. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care for patients undergoing Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and Haematology, with Monday to Friday daytime hours and no overnight shifts.

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to patients receiving treatment.
• Assess, monitor and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapies and blood products in line with clinical protocols.
• Deliver patient education and provide support to patients, families and carers.
• Collaborate with Oncologists, Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
