Job summary

Fronditha Care in Melbourne's Thornbury facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate clinical care, support residents to maintain independence and dignity, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will advocate for residents, manage medications, liaise with families and allied health professionals, and help ensure high standards of care in a welcoming, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in the aged care sector preferred.
• iCare system experience an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and WHS systems.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience within a clinical setting.
• Commitment to care outcomes for residents.
• Current Police Check.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to help provide compassionate support to residents at our facility in Thornbury. You will be a passionate advocate for excellent clinical care that enables our residents to maintain their independence and dignity for as long as possible. Key Responsibilities

• Medication management
• Liaising with allied health professionals
• Individualised care of residents to achieve the best quality of life for all of our residents
• Communicating clearly and compassionately, providing united support with family members about care and care needs
• Management of staff including EEN'S and PCW'S
• Managing complex health care needs to reach long term positive outcomes for residents

About You

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Experience working in the aged care sector (preferred)
• iCare system experience an advantage
• Sound knowledge and commitment to the Aged Care Quality Standards and work health safety systems
• Demonstrated unconditional focus on care outcomes for the residents
• Genuine care for people and personal qualities that align to our client’s values and mission
• Demonstrated supervisory experience within a clinical setting
• Familiarity with residential assessment, AN-ACC and clinical documentation
• Current Police Check
