Job summary

About The Role And Where You Will Be Working

Our Residential Care Facility in Success are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work on a casual basis to cover a mixture of shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights.

Located in Success, in Perth's southern suburbs, Frank Prendergast House has been supporting the local community since 2002. Our welcoming residential care facility is home for up to 73 residents and features spacious corridors, multiple lounge areas for residents and visitors, and enclosed walkways connecting the homes. Our dedicated and highly trained team provides compassionate clinical and personal care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are committed to enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of every resident through respectful, person centred care.

As one of our Registered Nurses, you'll be expected to lead small clinical teams that provide high standards of person centered care to all our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to improve both their clinical and leadership skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

About You

As a Registered Nurse, you'll hold a valid AHPRA registration and possess great interpersonal and communication skills. You'll be detail oriented and can work well in both a team environment and independently. You can apply your clinical knowledge to any given situation and achieve quality client outcomes. Experience in Aged Care is ideal, but not necessary. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

To Be Considered For This Role, You'll Need
  • A valid AHPRA registration
  • An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care standards & Quality of Care principles
  • Good knowledge of AN ACC requirements
  • Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
