Job summary

Aeralife The Manor in New South Wales is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a premium aged care residence with night shift opportunities. You will contribute to safe, high-quality, resident-centred care within a supportive clinical team.

You will work closely with the Clinical Care Manager and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver governance-driven care, enhance resident wellbeing and independence, and participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, accountability and quality improvement frameworks.
• Experience working with key performance indicators and achieving quality care outcomes.
• Knowledge of medication management, infection prevention and resident-centred care principles.
• Proven ability to lead, support and motivate a team to achieve high performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the completion of clinical care tasks and associated clinical documentation.
• Monitor resident files, progress notes, observation charts and clinical records to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Manage specialised nursing care requirements including wound care, diabetic care, catheter care, injections, medication patches and Schedule 8 medications.
• Collaborate with residents, families and external healthcare professionals including medical practitioners, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, mental health consultants and aged care assessment teams.
• Ensure compliance with Aeralife's Medication Management policies and procedures.
• Support infection prevention and control initiatives, including antimicrobial stewardship practices.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of clinical governance systems.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practice and continuous quality improvement.
• Foster a positive, respectful and inclusive care environment that supports resident dignity, choice and independence.

The Opportunity
