Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory on a permanent part-time basis. You will deliver patient-centred care across diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and radiology procedures within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires recent Cath lab experience, AHPRA RN registration, and the ability to work unsupervised during peak activity.

Competenze

• Experience in a cardiac catheterisation laboratory or similar high-acuity interventional setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team across peri-procedural phases.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and radiology procedures.

  About you

  The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, & radiology procedures.

  Working within a multidisciplinary team, the RN ensures safe, efficient, and evidence-based care across all phases of the patient journey, consistent with Calvary’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and commitment to excellence in private healthcare.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive critical nursing care for patients undergoing procedures such as diagnostic and interventional radiology & vascular procedures, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker/ICD insertion, and other cardiac interventions.
  • Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessment, preparation, and patient education
  • Perform intra-procedural roles including scrub, tech, and circulating nurse
  • Monitor ECG, haemodynamics, and patient condition throughout procedures
  • Deliver post-procedure care, including vascular access management, haemostasis, and early detection of complications
  • Participate in on-call roster to support emergency cardiac procedures
