Job summary

Canterbury Hospital in NSW Health is seeking Registered Midwives to deliver woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality healthcare for the local community.

The role operates on a temporary full-time or part-time basis (minimum 16 hours per week) with vaccinations required and various benefits available for staff under NSW Health policies.

Qualifications

• Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
• Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes.
