Prodigy People is seeking experienced midwives for a private hospital in Canberra. The role involves providing safe, evidence-based midwifery care across Core Midwifery / MGP services and supporting women through antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to midwifery standards and policies. A compassionate, family-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Recent neonatal unit experience is essential.
• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse, multidisciplinary team and provide family‑centred care.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, evidence-based midwifery care across Core Midwifery / MGP services.
• Support women throughout antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and handover at shift change.
• Work within midwifery standards, policies and scope of practice.
• Escalate concerns to the senior clinician or medical team.
