Job summary

Omega Medical is seeking Registered Midwives for maternity services across Canberra, ACT. You will contribute to antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care within a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, woman-centred care.

Eligible candidates have a current AHPRA registration, a midwifery qualification, and at least 1 year post-graduate experience. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are available for eligible applicants, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Midwifery or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
• Minimum 1 year experience post-graduation in Midwifery.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and adapt to changing clinical needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to woman-centred care, cultural safety and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care throughout the maternity journey (antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal).
• Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver care.
• Actively participate in a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and after-hours.
