Northern Sydney Local Health District’s Hornsby Hospital is seeking a passionate midwife to join the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP). This continuity of care model involves a small team supporting pregnancy, birth and postnatal journeys with women.Temporary Full Time position until 4 January 2028, 38 hours per week, salary weekly $1,566.70–$2,199.60, registered with AHPRA, NSW Drivers Licence required, applications close 9 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Recent experience in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Current NSW Drivers licence.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care within a midwifery continuity of care model, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with patients and the care team to achieve quality care outcomes for women and families.
• Support pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period within the MGP at Hornsby Hospital.
