Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Midwife to join the Midwifery team at Leongatha Memorial Hospital on a fixed-term part-time basis (64 hours per fortnight) until November 2027. The role delivers evidence-based, person-centred care across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and domiciliary services within a supportive, collaborative organisation.

You will work rotating day/night/weekend shifts, hold NMBA/AHPRA registration, complete FSEP, and meet Victorian family violence framework

Qualifications

• Current NMBA/AHPRA registration as a Midwife.
• Demonstrated practice within ANCI competencies and Code of Ethics/Professional Conduct.
• Annual completion of the Foetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP).
• Current Neonatal resuscitation and Basic Life Support competency.
• Understanding of family violence dynamics and MARAM and Victorian family violence system.
• Graduate Year/Transition Program in Midwifery.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to work rotating day/night/weekend shifts.
• Current and satisfactory National Police Records Check.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence - required for domiciliary visits.
