Manning Maternity Services offers comprehensive, woman-centred care to mothers and babies from 34 weeks of gestation, focusing on those with low to moderate risk factors, as well as post-caesarean section care.
The Maternity Unit is equipped with three birthing rooms, each with an ensuite, assessment room, and a spacious bath designed for use during labour. One of our birthing rooms has just been freshly renovated and provides a calming, nurturing atmosphere for our mothers and babies. Additionally, the unit provides 13 beds for the care of antenatal and postnatal mothers and their babies. It's a very exciting time for Manning Maternity, with a new Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) program coming into their service, allowing a greater connection to women and their families in the community. You won't be working alone. Our dedicated staff are fully supported by the Midwifery Unit Manager, Clinical Midwifery Educators, and Clinical Midwifery Specialists to ensure the highest standard of care. Continuing education and professional development opportunities are available to our midwives at Manning, and you will be strongly encouraged to pursue your educational goals!
You may qualify for a $20,000 sign-on bonus if you have moved (evidence required) from MM1-2 (metro) location , interstate or internationally to work in our district. If you do not meet this criteria, attraction incentives of up to $10,000 may apply. Retention incentives of up to $10,000 after 12 months of service may also apply.
