We are an acute medical and surgical hospital with 246 beds, conveniently located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne easily accessible via the Monash Freeway and East Link.

Our services include:24-hour Emergency Department, 10 bed Intensive Care Unit, 17 bed Coronary Care Unit, 9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Endoscopy, Medical & Surgical Wards

About the Role

Harvie ward is an acute 30 bed surgical ward specialising in the management of Plastics and Reconstructive surgery. Including cosmetic surgery for face, breast, abdomen, breast augmentation and reduction, malignant skin lesions, head and neck, hand surgery and microvascular with a mix of elective and emergency patients.

We are looking for motivated and highly skilled Registered and Enrolled Nurses, that demonstrate that they are committed to the facilitation of best practice nursing standards and customer service to join our dynamic team. Successful applicants will be supported with ongoing education. Career advancement opportunities are available with potential advancement into Introduction to Specialty Programs and Post Graduate studies.

Skills and Experience

You will have

• Currentnursing registration with AHPRA
• 1year + experience working in an acute setting
• Previous clinical experience in working in acute medical/surgical wards within the public or private sectors
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cohesive team environment
