Job summary

Nurse Next Door is hiring a Registered/Enrolled Nurse Care Ambassador in NSW, Richmond. The role supports Happier Ageing by delivering high‑quality home care in a local family‑owned setting.

You’ll partner with Caregivers and clients, build relationships, and ensure premium care delivery from first visit through ongoing care management. Training is provided, with flexible Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registered nurse with current practising certificate.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• National Police Check specific to aged care.
• Working with Children Check and NDIS screening.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Lead client care with a premium experience and NND standards.
• Review client schedules and care notes to ensure quality.
• Audit and adjust care plans and MARs with care team.
• Support administration and documentation practices.

Job Summary

As a Care Ambassador, you are responsible for initiating Happier Ageing experiences for Clients and Caregivers. You will also support the daily operations of the business. In every Client care situation, you seek innovative solutions. You can support with delegatedcare management from the first visit to the end of service. You will drive results through the following main duties and responsibilities:

Client First Visits

• Ensures that the First Visit introduction to the client and caregiver represents the Nurse Next Door brand, culture and premium care experience
• Assists in reviewing the client's schedule to clarify any questions
• Reviews Client Care notes in Alayacare with the caregiver, including the care plan and documentation

Continuity of Client Care

• Audits Client Care plan, replenishing progress notes, updates care plan, flowsheets, MARs, signature logs, etc
• Review documentation and follow up with any care-related concerns
• Identifies changes in level of care and communicates recommendations with Care Designer in a time-sensitive manner (ex., Has the Client's care changed? Does the Client require more care?)
• Accurately follows instructions according to nursing delegations
• Actions client needs with a sense of urgency

• Creates a positive Caregiver experience — Caregivers are set up for success in their role; they have client information and necessary training to provide premium care
• Oversees staff performance - ensures caregiver is the perfect match for every client assignment
• Delegates care and provides training and support as needed
• Fosters a spirit of Happier Ageing amongst Caregivers to ensure a premium employee experience
• Supports with client visits as needed, according to caregiver cancellations and urgent care

Administration

• Maintains excellent documentation practices
• Reviews client and staff records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Directs the maintenance of client & personnel records to meet employee, organisation and statutory requirements and entitlements

Availability

• Flexibility is required- Monday-Friday, minimum 24 hours up to 38 hours per week, between 7 am- 6.30 pm
• Part time/Full time for the right applicant.

Business Relationships

• Reports to the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Works closely in partnership with the Caregivers, Nurses and Managing Director

• Strong computer skills, proficient in G-Suite (Docs, sheet, drives, calendar)

• Intentional organisation, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Customer service and leadership background considered an asset
