Job description

The Role

Group Four are currently looking for a full-time VBA registered Building Inspector to service the East and Central/Metro Melbourne region.

Reporting directly to the Inspections Team Leader, you will be responsible for carrying out mandatory onsite inspections in line with approved documentation, delivering a level of service and professionalism that reflects Group Four Building Surveyors’ standards.

Your role will entail (but is not limited to):

• Conducting mandatory inspections to a high standard & maintaining consistency and care following all procedures and standards upheld by Group Four
• Being punctual and maintaining thorough and timely communication with customers and the team
• Processing inspection results for each job and ensuring all results are completed by end of same day
• Responding positively and punctually within specified timelines to customer and team requests
• Carrying out both mandatory and quality assurance inspections
• Assisting and participating in team training for building inspectors

• Registered with the VBA (Victorian Building Authority) as a Limited Inspector
