Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in Western Australia seeks an experienced Formwork Carpenter to deliver quality formwork and general construction work across residential and commercial sites.

You will read construction plans, measure, mark and assemble materials, travel between project sites, and work safely with hand and power tools while keeping work areas clean and organized.

Must meet Australian requirements and be willing to undergo pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a formwork carpenter or seasoned carpenter.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete formwork carpentry across residential, commercial or other construction projects.
• Construct, install and dismantle formwork structures per project requirements.
• Measure, mark, cut and assemble materials accurately.
• Read and work from construction plans, drawings and specifications.
• Perform general carpentry and associated construction tasks.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Check completed work for accuracy, quality and compliance.
• Travel between project sites as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site instructions.
