Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Port Macquarie, NSW, is hiring a Transport Region Coordinator to manage transport operations across regional NSW. You will lead a team of staff and volunteers, schedule drivers and vehicles, and ensure safe, timely transport for older Australians to appointments, activities and daily needs.

The role requires a proactive leader who thrives in complex environments and is committed to delivering compassionate transport services.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence and willingness to obtain T code.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module — 'Quality, Safety and You' and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
• Experience in administration and personnel management, ideally in transport, logistics or community service roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organisational and time management ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations across multiple locations in regional NSW.
• Administer scheduling of drivers and vehicles and manage a team of staff and volunteers.
• Lead a complex transport operation ensuring transport for medical appointments, social activities, shopping, family visits and independence for older Australians and vulnerable community members.
