Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in New South Wales is seeking a caring Community Support Worker (Driver) to provide door-to-door transport and support for clients to remain living independently at home.

Daily duties include safe, timely transport, clear communication with clients, and using mobile devices to coordinate trips. The role requires pre-employment checks, current First Aid/CPR, and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain pre employment checks including passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your position
• Sound time management and organisational skills allowing you to run on time and follow a designated schedule
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs

Responsibilities

• The Community Support Worker's primary responsibility is to assist customers and the disadvantaged to remain living longer in their own homes by providing a door-to-door transport service.
• The transport service being, affordable, caring, and reliable and delivered with compassion and integrity.
