Job summary

Kirinari Community Services has a fantastic opportunity in Port Macquarie, New South Wales for a Transport Region Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This full-time role starts as soon as practicable, requiring availability Monday to Friday and a passion for helping regional communities through coordinated transport services, leadership of staff and volunteers, and ensuring people get to essential appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and willingness to obtain T code.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You' and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
• Experience in administration and personnel management, ideally in transport, logistics or community service roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organisational and time management ability

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations across multiple locations in regional NSW.
• Administer scheduling of drivers and vehicles.
• Lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
• Ensure older Australians and other vulnerable community members get to medical appointments, social activities, shopping trips and family visits.
• Support transport coordination and service delivery in regional communities.
