Job summary

East Gippsland Water is seeking a Manager Strategy & Sustainability to lead the development of long-term plans, price submissions and funding opportunities. You will drive emissions reduction, climate adaptation and IWM integration while overseeing partnerships and external funding.

The role demands senior strategic thinking, strong program management, stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for the organisation and the community.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification plus relevant practical experience.
• Proven ability to develop strategy and long-term plans.
• Strong program management skills with target delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage community stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of strategic initiatives and price submission.
• Oversee sustainability, emissions reduction and climate risk planning.
• Manage external funding, grants and partnerships responsibly.
• Coordinate with Traditional Owners and key stakeholders.
• Embed sustainability into business processes and planning.
