You will champion a proactive safety culture, manage allocated operations, and lead improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and payloads while ensuring optimal crew deployment and strong team engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven safety leadership and incident investigation capability.
• Experience in guiding frontline teams and assigning tasks.
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive safety culture aligned to company commitment.
• Manage yard and traincrew operations to meet service demands.
• Implement improvement initiatives to reduce asset cycle times and improve payloads.
• Ensure adequate crew levels to support rostering and scheduling.
• Build and maintain positive team relationships and monitor performance.
• Lead incident investigations and drive safety outcomes.
• Monitor locomotive download data to optimise driving practice.
