Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to lead property operations across a portfolio of aged care communities. You will drive compliance, asset performance and capital works while guiding teams to deliver high-quality environments for residents and staff.

The role focuses on refurbishments, maintenance, and contractor oversight in a purpose-driven organisation that prioritises care and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Property or Facilities Management across multiple sites.
• Background in Aged Care, Healthcare, Hospitality or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Australian Standards, WHS and compliance requirements.
• Experience delivering refurbishment, maintenance and capital works projects.
• A confident people leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and budgeting capability.

• Lead and support Maintenance Officers across Melbourne care communities.
• Drive property compliance, preventative maintenance and asset performance.
• Manage repairs, maintenance and capital works projects.
• Oversee contractor performance and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, compliance, cost efficiency and operational outcomes.
• Support new home commissioning, project delivery and defect management.
• Partner with operational leaders to create safe, welcoming and well-maintained environments for residents and teams.

About The Role:
