Job summary

Queensland Government’s North Coast Region seeks a specialist procurement professional to provide high level advice across the full lifecycle. You will work with stakeholders on low to complex road infrastructure contracts and help deliver QTRIP program value.

The role requires thorough policy knowledge, the ability to coach others, and capability to manage tenders via QTenders. A criminal history check is required prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
• Ability to guide others in procurement planning and execution.
• Experience with high and medium risk procurements.
• Criminal history check required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level advice across the full procurement lifecycle for the North Coast Region.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement functions from low to complex road infrastructure contracts.
• Deliver medium to high-risk procurements and assist with Invitation to Offer and RFQ documents.
• Develop KPIs, procurement plans, evaluation plans and award strategies.
• Coordinate tender assessments and manage tenders via QTenders.
• Support supplier performance and contract management reporting.
• Maintain procurement information systems and records.
• Coach procurement officers and identify training needs.
