Nathalia Primary School is seeking a dedicated PE teacher who will also deliver classroom programs for 2027. The school uses Sporting Schools funds to support PE sessions, hire facilitators and purchase equipment for sports.

The vacancy is a full-time, fixed-term role commencing 27 January 2027, with 3 days dedicated to classroom delivery and 2 days to teaching and planning Physical Education for the whole school.

Qualifikationen

• SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.
• SC3 Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning; using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback to students and parents.
• SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; establishing collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community.
• SC5 Demonstrated behaviours consistent with Department values and engagement in professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Aufgaben

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
