Job summary

Fantech is seeking an experienced Regional Head of Operations to lead operational performance across its Australian and New Zealand businesses. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will oversee manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, purchasing, supply chain and facilities management.

You will shape the regional operating model, drive improvements, strengthen supplier relationships and deliver sustainable performance gains while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in manufacturing, operations or supply chain environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-site operational teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, warehousing, procurement and supply chain management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with regional and Group objectives, establishing clear priorities, performance measures and accountability.
• Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, capacity utilisation and operational performance across regional manufacturing operations.
• Strengthen supplier relationships, optimise purchasing outcomes, improve supply chain resilience and manage inventory and working capital effectively.
• Improve warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, distribution efficiency and customer service outcomes.
• Oversee regional building and facilities management, ensuring sites and assets remain safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, promote best practice and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
• Provide oversight and accountability for H&S strategy, systems and performance, drive risk reduction and embed a proactive safety culture across all sites.
• Strengthen quality performance and consistency, ensuring products and processes meet customer, regulatory and Group requirements.
• Develop operational capability, build strong relationships across the business and foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
