Job summary

Relationships Australia NT is seeking a Regional Office Co-Ordinator for Alice Springs to oversee daily client services, coordinate the office, and act as a key link with the Darwin office. The role ensures professional, welcoming service and smooth operations across regional programs.

The position emphasizes administration, coordination, and regional engagement within a not-for-profit social services context, offering a supportive, community-focused workplace.

Qualifications

  • You will be an organised and capable professional who can confidently manage competing priorities while supporting a small team in a busy social services environment.
  • Experience in administration, client services or office coordination.
  • Experience providing team oversight, coordination or informal leadership.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with clients, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and client management system skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, data and reporting.
  • Initiative and a practical approach to improving processes.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to respond sensitively to people experiencing distress.
  • An understanding of confidentiality, privacy and risk requirements.
  • Experience in a not-for-profit or social services organisation will be highly regarded, as will relevant qualifications in business administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day oversight and support to the Client Services team.
  • Be a welcoming and professional first point of contact for clients, including people who may be experiencing distress or crisis.
  • Coordinate client appointments, enquiries and service information.
  • Support EAP coordination and relationships with Central Australian organisations.
  • Coordinate regional meetings, staff movements, onboarding and remote travel.
  • Support the smooth operation of the Alice Springs office, including facilities, fleet, WHS and ICT requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to practitioners and managers.
  • Maintain accurate records, data and reporting.
  • Support financial administration processes including banking, petty cash and debtor management.
  • Contribute to regional engagement, internal communications and continuous improvement initiatives.
