Job summary
The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead nursing and multidisciplinary teams at Elliston Hospital and Pines Hostel. You will provide clinical and operational leadership, coordinate care delivery, and foster a best‑practice, person‑centred care culture in a regional setting.
You’ll work with nursing and midwifery leaders to support continuous improvement, workforce development and contemporary models of care, guiding Registered and Enrolled
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise and leadership experience coordinating care across a nursing team.
- Ability to lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams in a regional setting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Commitment to person-centred care, quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate delivery of safe, high-quality care across Elliston Hospital and Pines Hostel.
- Provide strong clinical and operational leadership to nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage workforce, rostering, leave, and operational resources within organisational frameworks.
- Drive quality, safety and continuous improvement using data and evidence.
- Lead change, education and professional development, mentoring staff.
