Job summary
NSW Health in Cootamundra is seeking a Facility Manager (Nurse Manager – Grade 3) to lead day-to-day operations of nursing and support services. You will ensure safe, compassionate, person-centred care and work with the multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality outcomes for residents.
The role requires current AHPRA RN registration, senior leadership experience, and strong governance knowledge. Location offers a relaxed regional lifestyle with strong community ties.
Qualifications
- Hold current authority to practise as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrate senior leadership and operational management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with accreditation, clinical governance and quality/safety improvement.
- Travel across MLHD and driving long distances when required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operational management of facility services.
- Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet goals and outcomes.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and budgeting to optimise service delivery.
