Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region, offering acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services. NHW seeks a Medical Imaging Technologist to deliver imaging services with a patient-centric approach in a regional public health setting.

The role suits experienced MITs and new graduates; a pathway exists for progression to Grade 2. Rotating shifts, on-call and after-hours work are required.

Qualifications

• New or early graduates welcome to apply.
• Clinical experience in CT, MRI or mammography is desirable but not essential.
• Open to internal and external applicants.
• Willingness to participate in rotating shift roster, on-call and after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional imaging services to patients and clients of NHW.
• Operate a range of imaging modalities (general X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, dental imaging, etc.).
• Participate in rotating shift roster, on-call and after-hours roster.
• Contribute to maintenance of imaging quality and patient care within a regional public health setting.
