Job summary

Eastern Health is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the Medical Imaging team at Angliss Hospital, Upper Ferntree Gully. This permanent part-time role offers 32 hours per fortnight, Monday–Friday, with no fixed days of work.

You will support CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine procedures, collaborate with radiology staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care, and uphold radiation safety standards in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA.
• Medical Imaging experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work autonomously and within nursing and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Radiologists, Radiographers and referring Medical Teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist with procedures in CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine.
• Monitor sedated patients and manage equipment required in sterile environments.
• Maintain radiation safety and wear protective lead clothing when required.
• Contribute to Cardiac Stress Testing support within Medical Imaging.
