Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group in South Australia is seeking a Regional Manager, Retirement Living to lead Village Managers and ensure high-quality services that help residents live independently with dignity.

This senior leadership role requires multi-site oversight, strong communication, and a commitment to person-centered care, with a focus on occupancy, safety, and partnerships with communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in business, community services, aged care, health leadership or a related field.
• A current Australian driver’s licence (P2 or above) and a willingness to drive is essential.
• Proven success in a multi-site operational leadership role, ideally within retirement living, aged care, or community services.
• High level of emotional intelligence, discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive issues.
• Warm, clear and confident communication skills that foster trust, resolve conflict and support teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular on-site presence across villages, partnering with teams and residents to drive operational performance and swift issue resolution.
• Lead, coach, and support Village Managers to drive consistent performance and meet organisational expectations.
• Prepare regular operational sales and occupancy reports for review with the General Manager, Retirement Living.
• Support Village Managers with localised marketing, sales strategies and pipeline management
• Act as the first escalation point for Village Managers for operational issues, resident concerns, or complex matters.

About the Role

The Regional Manager, Retirement Living is a senior operational leadership role responsible for day-to-day performance, consistency and effective operation of Lutheran Homes Group Retirement Living Villages across South Australia. The Regional Manager leads Village Managers to deliver welcoming, responsive, and high-quality services that support residents to live independently, with dignity and connection.

What You Will Need

• A current Australian driver's licence (P2 or above) and a willingness to drive is essential.
• Proven success in a multi-site operational leadership role, ideally within retirement living, aged care, or community services.
• High level of emotional intelligence, discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive issues.
• Warm, clear and confident communication skills that foster trust, resolve conflict and support teamwork

Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and must hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
