Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a Regional Manager to lead AOD and Homelessness services across the Northern Territory from Darwin. You will influence regional strategy, strengthen services, build leadership capability and oversee a growing portfolio of programs.

Based in Darwin, you will supervise Program Managers, foster collaboration with government and community partners, and ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery across the Territory.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or a related discipline.
• Significant leadership experience within homelessness, AOD, community services or a related human services environment.
• Experience leading managers and supporting geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across government, community and sector networks.
• Demonstrated experience supporting organisational growth, service development and change initiatives.
• NT Working with Children Check and NT Driving License are required

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction across AOD and Homelessness services throughout the Northern Territory.
• Support and develop Program Managers to build capable, high-performing teams delivering consistent, high-quality services.
• Drive service growth and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community organisations, sector partners and key stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of national frameworks, models of care and best practice approaches.
• Ensure services meet contractual, accreditation, governance and compliance requirements.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and resource optimisation.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for the needs of people experiencing homelessness and other forms of disadvantage.
• Represent The Salvation Army in relevant sector, community and stakeholder forums.
• Foster a positive, values-driven culture grounded in leadership, learning and service excellence
