Job summary

oOh!media is seeking a Regional Installer with welding experience to join the Regional Installing Team. Based from the Marsden Park depot, you will travel to regional sites to install advertising on billboards, with meals, transport and accommodation provided by the company.

You will perform detailed prep of billboard skins, install structures, work at heights, and carry out maintenance tasks. A manual driving licence and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Welding experience in repairs and maintenance is preferred.
• Must hold a current manual driver’s licence.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare billboard skins and equipment for each installation run.
• Install billboard structures and skins including reaching high access points.
• Work at heights between 2 and 10 metres and maintain WHS standards.
• Carry out maintenance tasks such as painting, vegetation clearance and rust removal.
• Use ladders and tools safely and adapt to site conditions.
• Travel to regional sites as required and coordinate with depot schedules.

About the opportunity:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking our next Regional Installer with Welding experience to join the Regional Installing Team. As a Regional Installer based from our Marsden Parkdepot , you will be required to travel to various regional sites to install our client's advertising on Billboards.

As part of the position, your meals, transport, and accommodation are company-paid and provided. As you could be traveling 3 out of 4 weeks to various regional areas,(weekends at home)you will have the opportunity to accumulate time in lieu, where you build this time owingandcan use this tohave a full week off fully paid to relax and enjoy whatever you want without touching your annual leave

Key responsibilities:

• Detailed preparation of billboard skins and equipment for each installation run
• Installation of billboard structures and skins and able to reach the secure points (approx. 2300mm) for the skins / advertisement
• Working regularly at heights between 2 and 10 metres
• Maintenance tasks such as painting, clearing vegetation, rust removal etc
• Appropriately use ladders, hand/power tools, and other equipment as required
• Work flexibly around start and finish times
• Produce a high standard of WHS practice across the area of responsibility

About you:

• You will need to be comfortable working at heights
• Willing to obtain relevant licenses and tickets as required
• Ability to use power hand tools in a safe manner
• Prefer if you have some welding experience invarious repair and welding duties includingfinishing, maintenance inspection and assessments , but not essential
• Have a clean and full MANUAL Drivers Licence is a must.
• Willingness to learn as we will buddy you up with an experienced installer
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
• Ability to follow all OHS regulations
• A high level of fitness will be required due to the working environment
