Job summary

Joss Group in Wagga Wagga, NSW, seeks an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to support safety, quality and environmental initiatives. You will liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with current legislation and company standards across projects.

The role requires a solid background in construction safety, auditing and WHS governance, with the ability to communicate clearly to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• HSEQ qualification and experience
• Experience in audits planning and management
• Strong WHS legislation knowledge (federal/state)
• Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to management and staff on safety issues
• Assist in policy documents prep/review
• Implement WHS strategies
• Coordinate safety requirements for specific projects
• Investigate incidents and close out actions
• Facilitate risk assessments and safety audits
• Provide training and mentoring across Construction team
• Assist implementation of Company Safety and Health Management System
