Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a GIS professional to manage spatial data for a Melbourne transmission project. You will maintain GIS datasets, produce maps and analyses, and support project teams across design, land access, environment, and construction.

You will connect survey, design and environmental data, automate workflows, and help with monthly reporting and asset handover, while advancing digital engineering within a collaborative, inclusive team.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in GIS, geospatial, planning or surveying.
Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS and ArcGIS Online or equivalent.
Data governance and metadata skills with clear communication.
Ability to automate workflows with FME, Python or Arcade.

Responsibilities

Manage project GIS datasets, keeping data accurate, consistent and version controlled.
Produce maps and spatial analysis for project teams and stakeholder engagement.
Support landholder liaison and property access planning with spatial mapping.
Align GIS data with project information systems and the common data environment.
Identify spatial risks and support compliance with approvals and environmental conditions.
Contribute GIS inputs to monthly reports, audits and asset handover.
Improve GIS processes and data quality, and advise multidisciplinary project teams.
