Job summary

Parks Victoria is seeking an experienced Engagement and Partnerships Manager for the Northeast Region to lead meaningful engagement with Traditional Owners, stakeholders, communities, volunteers, and schools. You will guide place-based visitor information, interpretation and education programs that showcase natural and cultural heritage while supporting park management objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading stakeholder engagement in complex government settings.
• Expertise in deliberative engagement processes for strategic decisions.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with communications teams for integrated strategies.
• Qualifications in communications, engagement or public policy; IAP2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering engagement with Traditional Owners, key stakeholders, community groups, volunteers and schools.
• Oversee place-based, accessible visitor information, interpretation and education programs.
• Oversee regional communications to support priority objectives and community connection to parks.
• Ensure timely, accurate, accessible information and clear opportunities to participate in management.
• Provide strategic input into regional planning, communications, and operations; foster a high-performing culture aligned with Parks Victoria values.
