Job summary

Parks Victoria is seeking an Engagement and Partnerships Manager to lead the regional engagement function across the North East Region. You will deliver meaningful and transparent engagement with Traditional Owners, stakeholders, community groups, volunteers and the broader community.

You will provide strategic input into regional planning, communications and delivery, ensuring activities are integrated, aligned to guardrails, and contribute to positive environmental, cultural and visitor

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, engagement, public policy or related fields.
• IAP2 Certification or equivalent formal engagement qualification is highly desirable.

• Lead a team responsible for delivering meaningful and transparent engagement with Traditional Owners, key stakeholders, community groups, volunteers, and the broader community.
• Provide strategic input into regional planning, communications, and operational delivery, ensuring activities are well-integrated and aligned with guardrails.
• Be accountable for team performance, resource planning, capability development, and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
• Lead engagement across Parks Victoria’s North East Region, building strong relationships with communities, volunteers and stakeholders.

• As a people leader, the role is accountable for team performance, resource planning, capability development, and fostering a positive and high-performing culture aligned with Parks Victoria's values.
• Lead Parks Victoria’s engagement and partnerships function across the North East Region, building strong relationships with Traditional Owners, communities, volunteers and key stakeholders.
