Job summary

The Department of Education, Western Australia, Wheatbelt Regional Education Office, invites applications for a permanent full-time position commencing October 2026. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for school administrators, providing accurate, high-level strategic advice to support daily school operations and ensure compliance with legislation and Department policy.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
• Working with Children Check current clearance required.
• Criminal history check compliance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, high-level strategic advice to support daily school operations and ensure compliance with legislation and Department policy.
• Deliver professional administrative and operational support to Directors of Education and senior executives.
• Implement a customer-service focus in the regional office and handle enquiries, concerns and complaints.
• Prepare correspondence, briefings and reports for the Minister, Directors of Education and senior executives.
