Clerical Officer

Department of Education, Western Australia – Permanent full‑time position commencing January 2026.

Overview

There are eight Education Regional Offices staffed by a Regional Director of Education, coordinators and support staff. The Clerical Officer assists schools and school networks in their region by providing general administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake basic research and prepare correspondence, notices and other materials.
  • Provide reception duties: greet visitors, answer the telephone, and respond to routine enquiries and requests for information.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment, and monitor and order office consumables.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodation.
