Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Senior Client Services Officer (Reliever) to provide complex administrative support across court operations in the Illawarra South Region, with base options in Wollongong, Campbelltown or Sutherland.

The role involves supervising a small team, training staff, and occasionally performing Registrar duties within the court environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise a small team and provide on-the-job training.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and legislation.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Wollongong, Campbelltown and Sutherland hubs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members, including training and handling complex enquiries.
• Undertake complex administrative tasks.
• Prioritise work and allocate tasks to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure work is accurate, compliant and responsive to client needs.
• Support improvements to processes and ways of working.
• Work across different Court locations and jurisdictions as needed.
