Job summary

Everest Civil is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction operations on projects around regional Queensland. This full-time role requires strong leadership, problem-solving and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.

You will coordinate crews, monitor schedules and budgets, liaise with clients and project managers, provide on-site mentorship, and ensure compliance with building codes. DRFA road construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate teams.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Experience with DRFA road construction is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction crews to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and safety compliance.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide regular progress updates.
• Identify and resolve issues on the construction site.
• Provide on-site training and mentorship to construction workers.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of construction activities.
