Job summary

Aurecon Group in Gladstone is seeking a Lead / Associate Director Civil Engineer to drive the growth of our civil capability across Central Queensland. Based in Gladstone, you will lead complex transport and community infrastructure projects and shape regional outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, foster technical excellence, and build strong client relationships while aligning with Aurecon's national network of experts to deliver high-quality, sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree required.
• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in consulting or infrastructure sectors.
• RPEQ certification essential.
• Strong client relationship management and business development ability.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business growth.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Drive quality outcomes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support growth initiatives and regional leadership in Central Queensland.
