Job summary

Trend Car Rentals is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth of our rental business across Australia. Based from Pooraka, the role focuses on developing short and long-term opportunities, building relationships with site teams, project managers and procurement personnel, and travelling interstate as needed.

You will lead proactive prospecting, manage key accounts, and deliver tailored rental solutions across industries such as construction, mining, and civil

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in solution-based B2B business development or technical sales.
• Proven success generating new business and developing sustainable sales pipelines.
• Experience selling engineered or technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small base of high value clients, identifying new opportunities within that client base.
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, referrals, networking and customer engagement.
• Build and manage a pipeline of strategic, high value sales opportunities.
• Develop customer focused technical and commercial solutions aligned with project requirements and compliance standards.
• Lead solution based sales presentations, proposals, negotiations and contract execution.
• Build trusted relationships with key decision makers across target industries.
• Collaborate with Estimating, and Operations to deliver innovative customer outcomes.
• Prepare quotations, pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer activity within our CRM.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales targets while supporting the continued growth of the Technical Solutions business.
