Job summary

South West Healthcare's Warrnambool Campus is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) for the Acute Care Unit. This part-time, 12-month parental leave position leads clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with at least four years post-graduate nursing and two in acute care, strong clinical governance, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum four years' post-graduate nursing experience, including at least two years in an acute care setting.
• Advanced clinical assessment skills and experience delivering complex patient care.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and professional nursing standards.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and supporting the growth of others.

Responsibilities

• Promoting excellence in clinical practice and patient care
• Providing effective leadership, support, and mentorship to nursing staff
• Ensuring safe, person-centred, and high-quality patient outcomes
