Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd in Hazelmere is seeking a Workshop Technician with a strong refrigeration background to diagnose, repair and test major home appliances in our workshop.

You will read schematics, handle domestic refrigerants with ARC Tick, hold a Restricted Electrical Licence, and mentor two apprentices while delivering quality workmanship.

Hours are 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for development and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in appliance repair and fault finding.
• Solid refrigeration background with ARC Tick licence.
• Hold a Restricted Electrical Workers Licence.
• Able to read schematics and technical docs.
• Mentor apprentices and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and test major home appliances in the workshop.
• Evaluate faults and determine repair approach.
• Fully test products before delivery.
• Support, guide and teach two apprentices.
